These terms govern your use of the Tennis Level app (the "service") provided by Kostiantyn Tymoshchenko ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What Tennis Level is
Tennis Level helps you determine your tennis level through practical on-court tasks. You complete a task, record a video, and reviewers assess whether your performance meets the requirements. Successful tasks earn you levels and ranks.
Tennis Level levels and ranks are an assessment within the service. They are not an official qualification, certificate, or rating of any tennis federation, and the service is not a training or coaching program.
2. Who can use the service
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
- One account is for one person. Do not share access with others.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity in your account.
3. Health and safety
Tennis is a physical activity with a risk of injury. When completing tasks, you:
- assess your own health and consult a doctor if needed;
- warm up and use appropriate footwear and equipment;
- play only on a safe court with permission from its owner or operator;
- stop if you feel pain or discomfort.
You complete tasks voluntarily and at your own risk. We do not control the conditions in which you play and are not liable for injuries or property damage, except where the law does not allow such liability to be limited.
4. Your videos and other content
- You keep the rights to the videos, photos, and texts you upload.
- You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, transcode, view, and process this content solely to provide the service: task review, showing your progress, support, and security. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the periods in the Privacy Policy. An approved video can be deleted only together with your account or at your request to support, and the result of that task may then be cancelled.
- Any other use, including showing your videos to other players, requires your separate consent.
- You confirm that you have the rights to the content you upload and that everyone on camera has agreed to be filmed.
- If a person on camera asks us to remove a video and the request is justified, we may delete it and cancel the result of that task.
5. What is not allowed
- uploading other people's videos, passing off someone else's performance as yours, or editing videos to deceive the review;
- uploading illegal, offensive, sexually explicit, or violent content, or content involving minors;
- abusing reviewers, support, or other people;
- attempting unauthorized access to the service, overloading it, bypassing limits, or scraping data;
- using the service in violation of the law.
6. Video review
Reviewers assess videos against the task criteria. Decisions are made at the reviewer's discretion. If you disagree with a decision, contact support and we will look into it. We may revise a decision already made if we find an error or a violation of these terms.
7. Our rights in the service
The app, tasks, demonstration materials, texts, design, and the Tennis Level name belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only within the service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. Changes and availability
The service is currently free. We may change, add, or remove features, tasks, and level requirements, and temporarily suspend the service for maintenance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. If we introduce paid features, their payment terms will be described separately before you can buy them.
9. Suspension and account deletion
You can delete your account at any time, see Account deletion. We may restrict, suspend, or delete an account that violates these terms or the law. Unless doing so would threaten the security of the service or other people, we will warn you and explain why.
10. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data, or loss of profit related to your use of the service. These terms do not limit the rights granted to you by the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Changes required by law or for security, and changes in your favor, may take effect immediately. If you do not agree with the new version, you can delete your account before it takes effect; if you keep using the service afterwards, you accept the new version.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, unless mandatory rules of your country of residence provide otherwise. We aim to resolve disputes through negotiation.
